Border agents find $60,000 worth of meth hidden in booster seats



Border Patrol brokers caught a person attempting to allegedly smuggle $60,000 price of methamphetamine medication inside kids’s automobile seats.

Brokers stopped a automobile carrying a person, his spouse, and their 4 kids close to the Newton Azrak Border Patrol Station checkpoint in Murrieta, California.

Officers say {that a} CBP Okay-9 workforce referred to as to the scene alerted handlers to the presence of medication within the automobile. When three booster seats have been reduce open, officers reportedly discovered almost 27 kilos of medication hidden inside them.

“The driving force was present in possession of 26.9 kilos of methamphetamine with an estimated road worth of $60,000,” CBP said in a statement.

The suspect, who authorities say is a US citizen, and the medication have been handed over to the Inland Crackdown Allied Taskforce for prosecution. The automobile was seized by Border Patrol whereas the girl and 4 kids have been launched.
